WiscWeb - How to restore a deleted Page or Post

After reading this document you will understand the process of restoring a page or a post from the trash area if it has been deleted.

Purpose

A deleted page or post can sometimes cause concern or stress to a user when something disappears from the active list. However, it is a simple task to recover those items from a site's Trash area. This content will walk a site admin through the process of restoring that deleted item.

Restoring a deleted item

Each content area (pages, posts, Faculty/Staff pages) has it's own set of statuses, as can be seen in the below image:

Clicking into each of those statuses will bring up a list of pages that meet the status.

To restore a page or group of pages, click into the check box for the item(s) and click the Bulk actions drop down. Choose Restore from the list.

Click Apply to commit the restore. Check your page list to confirm that your content has been restored.
